even if I am nowhere near
your suffering has not gone unheard
and so I now take the time to send a tender word
I think somehow there is a unifying connection
perhaps one that stretches into another dimension
and even at an unfathomable distance
linked particles share a common existence
and so you are definitely not alone
for I am here and I want that known
